Johnson Fold Primary School May 2024
Lisa-marie was commissioned to work with the children of Johnson Fold primary School in Bolton to create a welcome sign for the entrance to the school. The finished sign Incorporates the children's designs featuring the main themes of the school including the dove from the school logo.
Every child and every member of staff contributed a tile or a small section to the overall design which was then grouted in situ and ready to welcome them back after the school holidays.
Kettlewell Primary School 2022
Frances worked with the children and staff of Kettlewell Primary School in 2022. They not only suggested all the design ideas for this mosaic, but they also made it.
Thurnscoe Community Mosaic 2021
This huge tear-shaped mosaic celebrates the local area and history of Thurnscoe, a former mining village near Doncaster. It was initially created in community workshops run by Frances, who then finished it.
Chelsea Flower Show 2010
Frances created the mosaic paving for The Eden Project’s Places of Change garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010. She worked with
local homeless groups in Bradford on an allotment project. They grew some of the plants for the garden and two members helped Frances install the mosaics.
